HISTORY

Comunidades En Accion (CEA) is a non-profit organization with a mission to serve the Hispanic/Latino community. CEA has been an active community-based organization for about a year.

​

During this period, CEA was recipient of two grants from the Utah department of Health and the University of Utah.

​MISSION

​

​CEA has a mission to promote healthy life styles among the Hispanic/Latino community through interactive educational seminars, outreach, and specialized services.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS​

​

With the support of our sponsors, CEA can offer the following programs:

​

- Spanish Self-Management Diabetes Educational Seminars

​

- Stroke Prevention and 9-1-1 Make the Call Awareness Campaign 

​

CEA has reached over 300 people through the educational seminars.​
